Der Lord is the model of a dressage horse, and is possessed of supple, rhythmical movements. He is a harmonious, medium-framed individual of a clear riding horse type. His evaluations for rideability and basic gaits confirm the successful combina-tion of his sire's and dam's dressage genes. He is the first licensed son of the young dressage stallion De Niro, by Donnerhall. Der Lord's dam-line contains the legendary Hanoverian G-blood and stands for exceptional success at both competition and mare shows. The combination of genetics and high marks during his performance test suggest a high rate of prepotency is to be expected.
